Wrinkled pea "Oregon Sugar Pod" was awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit (AGM) in 2000.
Early popular variety: matures for consumption within 60-65 days after germination. Vines vary from 70 to 90 cm tall.
Pods are 10-12 long by 2 cm round, light green, smooth, mild flavor, highly resistant to Enation Mosaic Virus and moderately resistant to Pea Streak Virus, resistant to Fusarium Pea Wilt.
Peas are very sweet and delicious. Pods are 10 cm long, with 6-8 peas. Suitable for salads and hot dishes, for freezing.
Sowing norm 150-200 g per 10 m2, sow in repeated sowing. Can be consumed with entire pod as it does not contain parchment layer.
High content of proteins, carbohydrates, mineral substances and vitamins. The pod does not contain a parchment layer - can be eaten with the pod.
